It’s natural to feel a mix of curiosity, excitement, or even some nervousness when considering your first Holotropic Breathwork workshop. Even without prior experience, many people sense that the process can be powerful and impactful.

While this is true, there is generally no need for fear. When held in a safe, supported setting with a certified facilitator, the experience is designed to be both manageable and beneficial.

Below, we outline what to expect—from registration through to the structure of a workshop—so you can feel clear and prepared as you take this step.

Register for your workshop

Choose from the currently scheduled workshops here. Once you hit the “register” button you will be taken to an online registration form.

Medical fitness assessment

An essential part of the registration form is a medical questionnaire. There are a number of contraindications to Holotropic Breathwork, and this questionnaire enables trained Holotropic Breathwork practitioners to identify any problematic medical conditions and identify any contraindications or potential risks. Should your facilitator have any additional questions, they will get in touch with you. If everything is in order, you will receive a confirmation email confirming your place on the workshop. Now you are officially registered for the workshop.

Pre-workshop interview

Before attending your first workshop, you’ll be offered a pre-workshop online interview with your facilitator. If there are any remaining doubts or questions - whether on the participant’s or the facilitator’s side - this is a great opportunity to address them. It’s also a chance to have a relaxed conversation and get to know each other a little.
